Thursday nights prawn linguine

Now I never used to be a pasta lover til i copped off with an italian and now I can't get enough if the stuff.
This meal was beyond delish and comes as one of the most highly recommended whatdidyouhavefortealastnight recipes.

Unfortunately the daily mum phonecall (most of which was talking about food, it's hereditary you know) came halfway through the preparation so apologies for the limited photography.

Boil up some pasta- according to jamie Oliver/ Kate Andrews dry pasta works better with tomato based sauces, fresh pasta with creamy. Well who knew?!

Add fresh red chilli, garlic, chopped up good quality tomatoes and lashings of oil to a frying pan and cook til it forms a semi-sauce, still keeping the tomatoes intact.

A few minutes before its ready add some raw prawns and cook for another 4 minutes.

Drain the pasta and mix in with the tomatoes and prawns.

Add plenty of Parmesan and my 2 new favourite ingredients truffle and chilli oil et voila prawn pasta that in my opinion puts Jamie's kitchen to shame.
