The Florence Feast continues at the Four Seasons

Sam, mum and I worked up an appetite at the outlets. Where I manage to spend a small third world countries dept. We went to the Four Seasons for our Michelin Star evening. The food was out of this world! Although Mama Rita prefers 'good honest home cooking' and Cobus 'I eat out at two Michelin star restaurants a week' declared it less superior to the it's Roman counterpart. For the rest of us it was a huge thumbs up. Those of us that went tasting menu had ricotta and beetroot amuse bouche, seared scallops for starters, the most amazing pecorino and parmasan pasta topped
with seafood I have ever eaten, beef fillet, local cheeses and something that I would describe as a deconstructed millionaire shortbread. The best pud ever hands down. Even beats TFI's death by chocolate. We washed it down with a 3 litre bottle of chianti. We were too full to walk home and had to get a elevator each up to our rooms 400kg minimum you see #obeseinitaly.
