After attending the River Island press day on Wednesday (amazing collection btw) and having the best cocktail i have ever tried i knew i had to give it a whirl at home. fridays have been rebranded fizz friday in my new flat so what better time? In absence of flutes use usual wine glasses, pour in a shot or four of vodka depending on week stress levels, (make mine 10) add lemon juice, elderflower cordial (not necessarily weight watchers) and top with champagne and a lemon garnish. And voila - absolutely sozzled after one. Job done.
And to eat? Rustic goats cheese and caramelised onion tarts made by new flat mate and all round BFF Jess. We deserve our own weekend cooking show, watch ya back saturday kitchen.
