Friday - the first of our 30th celebration treats
Last night started our joint 30th birthday gathering in centre parks, Saf and I cooked for starters roasted beetroot salad and hallumi with fresh chillies. Mains roasted mustard beef joint with whole sweet shallots, sweet potato gratin, mange tout and green bean salad with hazelnuts. Pudding included a lovely moist carrot cake! All washed down with too much champagne and red wine. 8.5/10 pretty good effort just think the beef could have been a little more pink but it was all tasty!
