Monday pre birthday dinner at bar boulud

9.5/10 Cheery monday dinner with my
Mum, we both boringly opted for the same fair, grilled chicken with canberry gravy, swish chard and shallots, carrot purée and chips. I complemented mine with champers while my mum went for a Pinot noir. Everything was spot on apart from I could have done with a bit more carrot purée. Great way to start the birthday festivities!
