Sunday night Braai South East Side

10/10 A braai on the hottest Sunday in October on record, and what a veritable feast. On the grill manned by hostess Hughes we had boerewors (South African BBQ sausage), Borough Market beef burgers, slow marinated pork belly. Sides were green salad with almonds, pomegranate and Parmesan cheese, roasted buttered new potatoes, chorizo and butter bean salad, sourdough bread and to finish off a yummy chocolate cake which I couldn't do justice to because I was so stuffed. All in all it was braai perfection.

    Ummm not quite Braai perfection because it all went a bit smoothly - where we the fun and games juggling hot coals?
