Saturday- Lamb Roast and the 1cm debate

8/10 it was a team effort dinner with mixed reviews. We made roasted leg of lamb stuffed with lemon zest, garlic, rosemary and Parma ham. A firm Stofberg favourite, being a Saffer lamb is considered a basic like bread and milk. Then I made a lemon and chilli spinach side which was amazing and lastly 1cm thick sliced potatoes which weren't cooked despite an hour in the oven. Jenny and I concluded it was sam's faulty slicing-so we got the measuring tape out. Turns out he slices with surgeons precision. So for ONCE BBC good food got it wrong and Sam was right.
